One of these records that few know is the providential intervention of Sister Lucia dos Santos in saving the lives of two young on a beach.

At that time his health was weak, and the doctor told you the convenience of spending a month at sea to recover. As the other sisters agreed on that necessity, the Mother Provincial rented a house for the community.
A morning of sea unusually brave Sister Lucia came out to stretch their legs on the beach. Some women were picking up seaweed that the waves crawling up the sand, where they played a couple of kids. The seer of Fatima had climbed the rocks beaten by the waves, and was looking for molluscs when he heard a few screams and calls of distress from women. A blow of sea had swept the small and is carried towards the inside. Sister Lucia did not hesitate and jumped into the water.
“I got to grab one of the children and get him out,” wrote time after, adding: “at The beginning I did not see the other, but soon I discovered it in the water next to a rock where, fortunately, they had been trapped. I pulled it with the help of Our Lady, to whom I went, and I managed to save those two lives. We experienced a few moments of agonizing while the children vomitaban the water that had swallowed”.
Reminds Lucia that women “…do not know how to thank me. “Have to thank the Virgin, who was here, and not me”, I told them I invite them to the devotion to Our Lady. And, in fact, I believe that it was she who helped me, because even though I know to swim perfectly, the anguish had gotten paralizarme”, confidence the seer of Fatima.
